Have you ever wondered what you will find the LORD is saying or doing if you could peak into the prayer journals, praise reports, or faith diaries of the saints all around the world? (Read on here)

Waiting for a Test-imony?

Hello!

Thank you for visiting the page. Today I would like to share a bible truth or insight I heard in church a month ago.

One of the hardest things to undergo in life is waiting for a test (a problem or issue) to be over, waiting for a test result, waiting on a life-changing decision in the hand of your boss, or waiting for a testimony (evidence that GOD answers prayers) to come to light. Either way, waiting can be hard. My Pastor, Temi Ibrahim (of RCCG Potter's House in Newark, DE), started the sermon by reading to us from one of the books in the bible, the book of Romans chapter 8, verse 22-25 in the message version (Rom 8v22-25 MSG).

"All around us we observe a pregnant creation. The difficult times of pain throughout the world are simply birth pangs. But it’s not only around us; it’s within us. The Spirit of God is arousing us within. We’re also feeling the birth pangs. These sterile and barren bodies of ours are yearning for full deliverance. That is why waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don’t see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy."
Romans 8:22-25 MSG

Everyone is pregnant with something; an idea, a destiny, a dream, a vision, or with an actual baby. We are all pregnant with something. And like a woman pregnant with child waits for the growth and development of the baby she's carrying before delivery, we must also wait for the growth and development of that idea, path of destiny, or dream. If you ask a pregnant woman at 8 months how she's feeling, she would probably say "I just want the baby out" cos she's getting tired of the discomforts. For those of us pregnant with destiny, the waiting period is most difficult.

The delay can be heart-wrenching and very uncomfortable but like a pregnant woman, the longer we wait, the larger we become. The dream grows. And obviously, what we will birth will be large, depending on how long we have waited. A pregnant woman waits 9 months and will probably deliver a 6-12 pound baby. But an elephant waits almost 2 years and births an average of 200-270 pound baby elephant. How long have you been waiting? Years? That testimony you're waiting on will be large! It will be absolutely amazing! Stop crying and praise GOD for more will be your portion than those who have gone ahead of you. More will be your portion than those who think they've left you behind. But don't trust me. Trust the word of GOD in Isaiah 54v1-5. Hallelujah!

"Sing and shout, even though you have never had children! The LORD has promised that you will have more children than someone married for a long time." Isaiah 54v1 CEV

If you have waited, GOD will work it into glory because He is faithful. HE will make it good, real good. Be encouraged you who have been pregnant for long. Hold on to the word of GOD that says waiting does not diminish or take away from you. Like a pregnant woman has no choice but to wait for her time of delivery because she wants the best experience and wholeness of her highly anticipated child, we must also choose to have no other choice but to wait for the fullness of our dreams for it will be great and very much worth the wait. That's GOD's promise. You can believe it for He does not lie, ever. But don't believe me; believe His word.

"God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind...Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?Numbers 23:19a (NIV)

THE ANSWER IS NO. HE ALWAYS DOES WHAT HE SAYS HE WILL DO. Stop waiting on your test or problem to be over. Rather, wait on GOD in a place of prayer, trusting His faithfulness & His promptness in every situation, and ask Him to come through for you in your time of need. And He will. HE is so faithful.
